A modern take on the Jeep brand's original military vehicle is currently on the trails of Moab, Utah, for the forty-ninth-annual Easter Jeep safari, and it possesses quite the utilitarian style and off-road capability.

In WWII-era fashion, the Jeep Staff Car concept features no doors for easy accessibility, steel rims, flat fenders, a rear-mounted spare tire, and jerry can-- all details inspired by the original Willys MB. Twenty-first century touches include a barely-noticeable Jeep Wrangler Unlimited frame, Dana 44 axles, two-inch suspension lift, Fox shocks, and 35-inch military-style tires for modern, off-road-ready performance.

The military rig is one of seven other concepts created for the event, which also includes custom Renegade, Cherokee, Wrangler, and Grand Cherokee models, as well as the Jeep Chief, a throwback to the original 1970s Cherokee.
