When it comes to the Jeep Wrangler, we certainly never grow tired of the special edition vehicles that are designed for the model. The latest version is called the Jeep Wrangler Willys Wheeler and was unveiled just last month at the Los Angeles Auto Show. Let's take a closer look at how this SUV was enhanced.
Over the years, the Jeep Wrangler has earned a reputation for being a vehicle that offers a great level of ruggedness and durability that allows it to tackle any terrain that it encounters. This special edition version brings back some of the model's original characteristics, and draws a lot of its design inspiration from the Wrangler Sport.
"The new Jeep Wrangler Willys Wheeler Edition is a Jeep purist's dream, delivering a Jeep vehicle that harkens back to the original, classic CJs of the 1940s," explains Mike Manley, President and CEO - Jeep Brand, Chrysler Group LLC. "This new Jeep vehicle delivers pure functionality and rugged capability in a unique package that recognizes the origins of the brand."1
In terms of exciting exterior design enhancements, the SUV sports black Jeep badging, a black grille, a satin black paint job, Willys hood decals, and stylish 17-inch high-gloss black aluminum wheels. Other standard features include a deep-tinted rear windows and a Sunrider soft top.
These are of course simply a sampling of the highlights of the Wrangler Willys Wheeler special edition model. Luckily we can expect the model to make its way to Lewis Chrysler Dodge Jeep at the beginning of next year.
