In case you haven't heard, the Dodge Dart has released the 2014 model year and drivers all over the country are taking to the streets in this gorgeous successor to the Caliber. However, as great as it is, there's always was to improve. We here at Lewis Chrysler Dodge Jeep and caught wind of a new rumor about the Dart and its future, and we think you loyal readers will find it to be quite agreeable.
Due to the positive reaction that the Dart GT received, thanks in part to its increased engine power boosted up to a 2.4-liter Tigershark cranking out 184 horsepower, the ladies and gentlemen at Dodge have thought that perhaps another engine option would be even better for all the drivers looking to the Dart as their next automotive choice. At the moment, it's all rumors, but they're spreading fast through the vast internet grapevine.
A report from Allpar has stated that the automaker is considering a Pentastar V6 engine for the Dart. The Pentastar is available in three sizes: the 3.0-liter, 3.2-liter, and 3.6-liter; while we don't have the 3.0-liter here state-side, the other two are viable options at the moment. Some think that the new engine could be getting put into a potential Dart SRT model. For the time, however, we'll just have to keep our fingers crossed for something cool and just wait it out.
