For the fifth time in the last seven years, the Dodge Challenger ranked tops among all vehicles in the Midsize Sporty Car segment of the J.D. Power 2017 APEAL Study, while the Chrysler Pacifica led all Minivans in its debut appearance.
The J.D. Power APEAL Study, which is now in its 22nd year, measures how gratifying a vehicle is to own and drive and is based on customer evaluations of 77 attributes. Customers are surveyed at the same time as with the Initial Quality Study, which happens after they've owned the vehicle for 90 days. J.D. Power states that the most appealing vehicles enjoy greater owner loyalty, spend less time on dealer lots and sell for higher prices.
